Bryan Galat has devoted his entire career to helping his clients identify and meet their planning goals. After graduating from Dartmouth College, Bryan studied law in his home state of Connecticut where he fell in love with his wife, Kate, and the tax code. The latter of these two romances led Bryan to practice law with an international tax firm based in London, followed by a mid-size tax firm where he was Managing Director and Wealth Planning Director. In his 15th year of practice, Bryan co-founded DearthGalat LLC with his good friend, Marc Dearth, as the best environment in which he could meet the complex needs of his clients.
From the moment he entered the practice of law, Bryan has focused his attention to assisting high net worth individuals and their families develop customized estate plans. Over time, he has increasingly focused not only on the efficient transmission of assets, but more importantly the transmission of a set of family identity and values from generation to generation.
Residents of Marietta, Bryan and Kate are the proud (and exhausted) parents of 5 children. They are members of West Ridge Church, where Bryan serves as an elder, and are strong supporters of Cornerstone Preparatory Academy, a university-model school of which Bryan is a board member. They are also very involved with Georgia Metropolitan Dance Theater, where their children spend the majority of their time when they are not in school or at home.
